both of u.sign it with blue pen, scan it. and send it back to him.I sent it but they told me until workers go back to work.still waiting more than 2monthsHi,
Good day,
We're interested in submitting GCMS note. Because since February 6, we did not receive any update on our application. My husband as my sponsor from Canada will submit it, does it need my signature? Or just his?
Thanks,
Anne
Correct, everyone needs to sign it. In fact during COVID-19 electronic signatures will be accepted as well but you must then provide a copy of govt, ID. It takes about 30 days to get the file back but it can take longer. If IRCC needs more time to process the request they will notify you via email in the first 30 days.both of u.sign it with blue pen, scan it. and send it back to him.I sent it but they told me until workers go back to work.still waiting more than 2months

You must have also applied for the "supporting documents..."? Since such documents are held at overseas offices. GCMS notes are accessed within Canada.yes.they sent me this email
We are confirming that we have received the requested information.
We acknowledge that your request is now overdue. According to our records, your request was due on April 20, 2020. The delay is due to the fact that we are awaiting records from overseas.
Due to the current situation with Covid-19, most employees in offices overseas have been instructed to return to Canada. As a result, our office will not be able to retrieve the record until those employees have physically returned to work.
The information will be forwarded to you as soon as possible. We apologize for any inconvenience this situation may cause.

CIC is picky about signatures but did you request "The electronic notes of the immigration or citizenship officer(s)" OR "he application, supporting documents and correspondences sent to and/or from IRCC" it looks like you requested the latter which is why CIC would mention overseas in the email. The latter are not GCMS notes but copies of documents submitted with your visa application.I applied for Gcms note.but in march when I applied.they asked me to sign it with blue pen and send it again.after a month I sent them email to see if they reçeived it.and they send me this email

Thanks. The tampering part is a fairly common issue, often happens when clients copy/paste images of signatures into the form. What did the beginning of the email look like or was it just like you have mentioned?this is 1st email
