Yeah, don't think you will be allowed to do that (Probably call CBSA), before you even step up to the immigration counter at Pearson, you need to fill out the quarantine form - address where you would be quarantining yourself, contact info etc. The first CBSA officer asks all the quarantine details before you are even let inside to the immigration counter.
Also, you sure about getting a same day flight? AFAIK, there are very limited flights back to the US. Considering that remote work is going on at most places, you could always work in Canada for 2 weeks (I did the same).
Thanks for the info. I saw aircanada has few options.
I was planning (Late July) to fly out of Boston to Toronto at 7 am and take evening flight around 9 pm back to Boston. (~ 2 hours flight each way)

With two hyperactive toddlers it’s tough to work from Canada.

Did nyone recieved ny update regarding expired COPR? My visa expired yesterday. I submitted the webform and got an email from IRCC that they are currently making additional verifications in order to respond to my request. They will communicate with me as soon as they will have some information. It's been more than a month since I recieved this mail.

I just received this email from IRCC even though I have NEVER raised a single webform.

This is the message I ve received today from IRCC

We are still working on your application
You may not have heard from us in a little while. This is normal. Most of the progress on your application happens closer to your estimated completion date.

I think it is once again a generic email being sent to EVERYONE?
Can the rest of you please confirm?
You didn't write to IRCC Delhi and still received this email ?
When did your COPR expire ?

Hello friends,

I want to finalize my travel plan. My visa expires on the 7th of July and our country (Ukraine) is planning open airports starting from the 15th of June.
I have only one reliable option for travel and this is with 2 stopovers (one in Frankfurt and one in Toronto). Initially, I planned to settle in Calgary and unfortunately there are no reliable flights with only one stopover in Europe.

I’ve got a few questions. Still, I don’t understand – should I spend 14 days of mandatory self-isolation in Toronto or I can go to Calgary and conveniently spend this isolation there? There is no information regarding this in the ircc letter.

If I would provide all details of my isolation (in Calgary) to an immigration officer in Toronto, would I be allowed to continue my trip to Calgary? I’m planning not to leave Toronto Pearson airport and so my trip would look like Kyiv->Frankfurt->Toronto->Calgary

I’m currently organizing my airbnb stay so this question is of vital importance. Thank you in advance!
I hope you have done your research. Calgary has been hit very hard between covid, Alberta cutbacks and now extremely low oil prices. Don't commit to rent longtern and apply in other cities, province and territories.

Pls go thru programme delivery section for covud 19 in cic website. They had clearely mentioned earlier that medicals would be reassessed for 6 months.Nobody has got 3 month ext till now.And that wud means all march and april and may ppl will have to go thru medicals again and that is just not fair.We all hope to get 6 month ext.
Never said that people were currently being asked to redo medicals. I have seen people being given 3 month extensions without medicals. I am just warning people that extensions will not go on indefinitely and at a certain point a remedical will likely be necesary.
