HI! My Application was received 31 October, file was forwarded to London on the same day as you (31 Jan) and im residing in the UAE so we have a very similar case.
What are your updates? As we’ve received nothing since

Feb 25th 2019 file received
In april 2019 got biometrics and medical request
November 28 file sent to London Visa Office
Asked for further proof dec 3rd
Proof sent right away
No response since..
It totally sucks i have no idea why these guys are taking so much time.. its been over 15 months.. i have gone to visit my wife twice and i have attached everything, pictures, tickets, conversations everything possible.. but they are still checking eligibilty..
I hope it works out for all of us in sha allah

Mine as well transferred november 2019 everything submitted I sent them an email they said my file awaiting to review by agent could not understand 12 months complete I have no idea what they are doing! And they are clearly mention font follow up on the same query I dont know order GCMS notes jan 2020 till now did not recieve asked them they said need more extension.
My medical will be expired on june 15 2020 idk what will happen i guess they will ask me to do it again
I believe medicals are valid for a year, but I’m unsure what is the requirement currently due to covid.
After an year and then it depends on them that whether they will ask for it or not
