COPR and coronavirus

They didn't mention which office they have forwarded it.

I hope it would be mainly the Visa office which has processed our application.

Any suggestion do i need to mail them asking about the responsible office and send the mail to them again or no action is required from my end.

Please provide your suggestions on thsi which will be really helpful..

Anybody got the same reply like this??in such case what you guys have done.Please share.

Hi

I havent done anything post receiving that reply from IRCC...will raise webform again once i m able to travel

No you don’t need to provide a medical test to enter the country.

I also thought that your Visa was expired. Hope you had a good experience except the quarantine part.. :)
I am planning to travel on 14-May and will be using AVR.

May I know what action you took? Did you send the Confirmation of Permanent Residence (CoPR) document?

Our (me and my family) COPRs expire next week. We made a conscious decision to not travel during this time. We would have to go from South East Asia and would have required to make at-least 1 or 2 transits at travel hubs to reach Canada as there are no direct flights. With long travel time and a toddler with us led us to decide to not travel until the situation improves.
At the same time, we didn't even book any tickets (that I had planned to do in Jan/Feb) hence I can't really say that my flight was cancelled.

I raised webform stating my concerns and asking explicitly what options do we have if we can't travel but have only got a automated/generic response on the same.

I am concerned that our approved COPRs will be withdrawn and we may have to go through the entire process again!

Are there others who have made a conscious decision to not travel and informed IRCC - Have you got any response from IRCC and if so what is it?
I feel like I should raise another web form and inform them again but I am also conscious that response will be delayed due to IRCC's workload?

Apologies if someone has already asked something similar. Your response is highly appreciated

Clearly IRCC has stated on their website that submit webform if you are unable to travel or unwilling to travel. I guess already you have done so. Besides, they have also stated that submit another webform once you are ready to travel and your COPR has expired. They will share next steps. This communication is clear, crisp and comforting. Simply submitting web forms out of anxiety is not at all good. It will overburden IRCC and also waste your time as well as their time.

Hi all,
Your answers regarding the following two questions are appreciated:
1.Do your COPR & Visa is valid for two months from the date of issuance or they are valid until the expiry date of your medical tests?
2.Considering these unprecedented days, if I as a confirmed Permanent residents plan to land before the expiry date of my COPR then should I raise a webform and inform/ask IRCC regarding this or it's not required?

Yes, you are correct but someone can consult with Air India if they are taking CoPR holders whats the harm.
