The web query and it’s as follows;


We verified the information on file and can confirm that:

• The background verifications have not been initiated.
• The security background verification has not been initiated.
• The criminal background verification is currently valid.
• Your application is currently being processed at the Centralized Intake Office (CIO) in Sydney, Nova Scotia.

I asked about eligibility, criminality and security but it’s silent on eligibility. Anyone may know a reason or the agent just didn’t answer that part?
Also wat are the security background verification and the background verifications. I am EE PNP Outland.
I also hear NovaScotia is processing applications slowly.

Excellent stuff. The responding agent didn’t mention anything about eligibility in his response and I am not sure why. Everyone who send a web form gets an update on eligibility.

They approve around that time but will hold off on sending the documents like COPR that you need to land until they have lifted travel restrictions.

Hi I got a similar response, only that they didn’t even mention the eligibility whether it’s in process or not. My application is also in Sydney.

Is Nova Scotia slower than most VOs? What is the different between centralised intake office and case specific?

• Your application is currently being processed at the Case Processing Centre (CPC-O) in Ottawa, Ontario

Does this mean everything except security background is done? Or will a senior officer be reviewing my file again?

I got ghost update 2 weeks ago and think abt it everyday , do u guys mind to give me some insight on how to write the request form that u sent so i can get those information of which one hv started & hv not started?

I totally feel you. We are all panicking Lol. I think you could either raise a Webform again or order a GCMS.

Ottawa happens to be one of the fastest centers. Your application seems to be processing nicely.
