COPR and coronavirus

Similar situation, In US and my COPR expires on 4-June and I plan to land on June 1. If the isolation thing isn't relaxed by may 15, I will be staying in an AirBnB or a hotel.
#2: AFAIK, the landing appointments cancellations are for the in-land applicants.
For #3, it's fine if you have a Temporary Visa (H1, F1 etc), Confirmed with the immigration team in my company. (Also sent an email to CBP asking this, hopefully they reply soon)

Thanks for the reply. Even we are planning to stay in airbnb since we do not want to quarantine our friends as well. And #3 I am H4 and my husband is on H1. Hopefully we should be able return without issues.

1) passports
2) COPR letter
3) passport size photos incase they need it
4) Bank statement - POF
5) Goods accompanying and goods to follow - just handwritten list

Hi friends

My COPR is going to expire day after tomorrow ie April 30th.i have already raised a webform on 13 th April saying that I won't be able to travel before the expiry of my COPR due to the complete lockdown in india and asked for extension.i got a generic reply as others.Do I need to raise another webform to IRCC after April 30 th saying that my COPR has expired and I didnt travel before the expiry of the COPR..Kindly provide your suggestions on this..

Your application window would revert back to Pre-COPR thing. A friend of mine in India told me this. Her copr expired on 22nd April. She has got same window as we have pre-Copr. Kind of application got re-opened. Lets see what happens next.

I am in the same situation, however my h1b visa stamp has expired and given the shutdown I cannot get it it stamped in Canada.
I consulted with my company lawyer and they said non essential travel is not exempt and also I don't want to risk travelling. Did anyone of you apply for copr extension with ircc?

I am also concerned about University, I have been accepted to Laurentian and I am afraid to be late for studies (in case I don't get extension before that).

They are both ones of the top ten universities, however, I heard Waterloo courses are very math heavy and their graduates are a bit arrogant because of that ))) Besides Vancouver is waaaaay more expensive than Kitchener (renting).

If you have an expired visa, you can always come back to the US from Canada as long as you have an unexpired I-94 and the trip is <= 30 days. It's called Automatic Revalidation.

As for the non-essential travel thing, check this:

"On March 21, 2020, the U.S., Mexico, and Canada temporarily restricted non-essential travel across the US-Canada land borders. On April 20, 2020, all parties agreed to extend the restrictions on non-essential travel across their shared borders for 30 additional days. We are maintaining cross-border activities with Canada and Mexico that support health security, trade, commerce, supply security, and other essential activities while taking critical steps to protect our citizens and to curb spread of the virus.

Does this apply to U.S. citizens and lawful permanent residents?
This restriction does not apply to U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, persons from foreign countries who hold valid travel documents, and persons from foreign countries in the visa waiver program who are not otherwise subject to travel restrictions. This order does not apply to individual persons who should be excepted based on considerations of law enforcement, officer and public safety, humanitarian, or public health interests. "

Hi,

I also have the same situation. My COPR is expiring in July and I am also concerned about leaving the current job until the dust settles.
But for the time being I am just waiting for another 15-20 days.If things do not get better by then, I am planning to raise a web form to extend my COPR.

Extension are only being granted once COPR expires.

As per my company's lawyer ARV is not exempt from travel restrictions.I was planning to return using this but after confirmation from lawyer this doesn't seems to be an option.
