There should be more Canadian experience class draws in coming weeks and it should drop to 440's. I had to leave country even after having two years of experience in Canada. I think like me there are many candidates who don't have back home experience and are in 430's or 440's , hence back to back CEC draws are must to clear all the CEC Candidates from pool.
Even if that is the case, it's frustrating that us FSWs don't have any indication of when we can expect the next FSW draw. Just for the sake of planning our lives around it. But if IRCC doesn't know, because of how disruptive COVID is at the moment, then that's fair.

Congratulations those who got the ITA

Just curious, why lately the draws only for PNP and CEC? Cannot be due to COVID-19 as it impacted everyone.
Hi,
My score is 456 and submitted application before the tie breaker date ( January 20,2020) however I have not received ITA invitation. What should I do?

I Know everyone's situation is different, Its been 1 and half year i have been struggling to apply for PR. Last Lowest Cutoff i think it was in January 2019, 438. Since then it went above 450's and recently 470's. Since Last year everything changed. I am hoping in coming weeks they clear all Canadian Experience Class Candidates.

Yes you can accept it but make sure you submit your PR application after actually completing 24 months. This won't be an issue as long as you have full 2 years when you submit your file. (I confirmed it with cic) Good luck!

And yes if you do decline then you will be back in the pool for next draw as long as you don't let your ITA expire you are good. But cic is very unpredictable so I highly suggest not declining it as you never know when they will conduct next draw.
Thank you so much for your response. I appreciate it. Just one quick question, i am eligible according to their“MEC” for CEC as it says to complete atleast 12 months full time which i already have. And this case is for my second year (which is completing 24 months).

Also, i have heard when i will be submitting my APR after 24 months, the system automatically recalculates my score to ensure that i am above the cutoff for that draw? Is that true? Thanks.

Yes that is correct. Once you answer all the post ita question you will be able to see crs table with all the individual scores and your total CRS. As long as that score is above the cut off in the draw you recieved an ITA you are good to go.

Just remember to submit your application after actually finishing 24 months. There won't be any issue. :)

Hello all,

I have a problem of which I am not able to understand what to do:

I received he ITA, but while completing the e-APR I noticed that I mistyped the ECA number in the EE profile. All other details, including issuing authority and date are correct. What should I do? Should I decline the ITA or update the correct ECA number with LOE?

I share your predicament buddy. And the timing... it’s just salt on the wound to realize you came so close and just missed by a fraction.

I was in the pool on 27th Feb with a CRS that could definitely get me in... but thanks to the tiebreak rule of just three days earlier I’m still stuck in the pool. Thats hurts me bad.

i hope you and I will get in soon.

Same here. Joined the pool on dec 26th with 468. Maxes out IELTS on March 7 and went to 474. Then, no more fsw draws.

Hey Jitesh.
I belong to the same category. Had to come back home . Under CEC category now. Although i didn't quite get what you meant by " I think like me there are many candidates who don't have back home experience and are in 430's or 440's " . What do you mean by "back home experience".

And about more CEC draws.. did you get this info from a consultant etc ?

Hello everyone. I have a question in regards to ITA. This is my scenario.

1st Job: 30 Apr 2018 – 26 Apr 2019 (1 year)

2nd Job: 10 Jun 2019 – Present (currently in 23rd month)

My EE profile is active as of April 2019 and i got points for 2 years on April 1. I think because the system calculated my first job as 13 months even though i just worked 1 day for April 2018. I received an ITA on April 9 draw. My questions are as follows:

In such a case, when I have not yet fully completed 24 months, can I accept this ITA? OR can I accept it and submit my eAPR after I complete 24 months as i have got 90 days to apply?

Because as per “MEC”, I am already eligible for CEC as I have completed 12 months and this case is for my 2nd year. I am a little confused here as I would like to know if CIC calculates MEC individually for each year of work experience.

And if have to decline, I am wondering when I go back in pool, will I get another ITA if my score is high enough? Also, is there any limit to number of ITA’s that I am allowed to decline?

Anyone else has a similar situation? This is quite confusing. Your responses are highly appreciated. Thanks.
Hey,

You also have to subtract the days you were out of the country on leave excluding the paid leaves given by your employer. Just a suggestion.
Cheers.
