last time when I raised a web form they confirmed me that “the resposible office has determined that you meet the eligibility criteria”. However yesterday I got a response saying that my eligibility is still “In process”. Any thoughts friends?

Sounds like the processing agent / assistant has checked your eligibility and passed it onto the senior officer. Now it's going through another check by them. Good news that it's been met though!

Nothing changed in my profile since the biometrics were updated until I received a ghost update on 8th April and my Background Check changed to "Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check." from " We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.". As far as I know this is the first time my background check has changed because I never notices this much. I believe I'm at IP1 stage, please correct me if I'm wrong. I understand the world has slowed down and it's gonna affect all of us who are waiting for the golden mail. I just want to know how much time does it usually take to go from IP1 to real IP2 stage? I know it depends case to case but a slight idea would give me a little satisfaction. I'll keep it posted if there's any progress. Thanks and best of luck to all sharing the boat!

Sorry don't know the answer to your question but we have very similar timelines! Mine is:

NOI from Ontario: Aug 1, 2019
Nomination: Nov 21, 2019
CRS: 438 + 600 = 1038
ITA: Nov 27, 2019
AOR: Jan 21, 2020
MEP: Feb 5, 2020
Biometrics Completed: Feb 9, 2020

Called on March 9 and found that Eligibility in progress, Criminality Passed, Security not started and VO is Sydney.

No GU yet though.

I had the same reply as you a few weeks ago, then sent another web-form last week and got this back. So things are definitely moving along.

Does anyone know if the “responsible officer” mean that my application is now at my final VO?

AOR Jan 02- I got exact same response for my web-form too. Only GCMS notes will show what's going on.

It’s been the same status since 6 weeks. Eligibility - under review, criminality - valid and security - not started.
