Hello everyone, me and my husband submitted our apllication for inland spousal sponsorship/owp and are currently waiting for them to be processed/approved.
He has tourist travel insurance that expires in May. After that he will be uninsured.
I work in a hospital, I am a front line worker and I am scared if I get the virus I will give it to him and he will have no medical insurance due to the weird situation he is in right now. Although we are both young and hopefully will have mild symptoms if we contract it, there is always the chance it could be bad and he has to hospitalized. Considering he won't have our countries medical insurance, that will put us into debt forever.
Is there any way to insure him? I am very concerned and torn between my job which is vital right now for the country and putting him in danger and us in danger of incredible debt. At first I was not worried but the more I see in person of this pandemic and what is happening in the hospitals, I am scared.
No matter the cost of the insurance I would pay it, but most companies now have clauses in place that they do not cover coronavirus for tourist insurance.
