Got my file moved to New delhi visa office today.Looking at the other forums it seems that NDVO is very slow. Also many applicants are moved to CPC-M.Is their a specific criteria as to why some files are moved to Local VO while others are processed in CPC-M

There is no clear cut criteria to decide if a file goes to home country VO or CPC-M. If there seems some doubt then probably it goes to home country VO and if everything seems solid and no doubts or confusion then to CPC-M. It also boils down to how questions are answered in the forms and the language used in description of photos and such things. You have to remember there is no clear cut definition. Last time I tried to ask this to a customer support agent when I called them her reply was if it is outland sponsorship then it goes to the home VO. So even the agents themselves are not open about it or not sure about it.

Thanks for the response. Is it true that NDVO is very slow as compared to other visa officies?.

Yes, on average for the whole process to complete it takes over 200 days from date of application received at NDVO based on data from previous months. But some applications are done fast.

Hey guys,

my file was received in Feb 13 by Syndey office. Outland sponsor app for spouse. I still have not received AOR. I am seeing people who submitted later than me have received the AOR. Going into panic mode now. Should I call their office ?

You can call but I doubt their reply will help you much. They will say something like they are opening applications received on January 20 or the official wait time is 30 days for AOR1 so please wait. I would suggest wait for a week or so and then give a call. Also, you can go through all the forms you submitted to see if you missed a signature or to fill a section. Your worse case scenario is they will return your file and you want to be ready with the changes.

Uh Oh. File transferred to NDVO. Don't know why when everyone else's file is being sent to Mississauga. Was a smooth progress until now, receipt of file to MVO in less than 30 days. But NDVO :(

Can anyone please tell me what exactly is AOR 2? How does it look like and what is it's relevance?

It is urgent I’ve a question , on the sponsorship form , supplementary and travels IMM 5562 . Page 1 of 2 . There is no signature button to sign in and date it . I want to know if that one doesn’t require a signature and date . Am trying to verify for accuracy please

For AOR2, on ECAS, on PA side, will switch from in process to application received and then back to in process.
Also when you click on the PA side, it should say “we started to process your application on xxxx” on the second line.

Hi everyone,

My application was received on Feb 24 (Sydney, NS), but I did not receive an AOR1. Should I be concerned? According to the tracking sheet, everyone else from Feb 24 already received the AOR1 on March 6/7.
Thanks!
