Nairobi VO Spousal Sponsorship 2020

Hello,

Anyone has their application moved to Nairobi VO for further processing recently? Please share your timeline. My file was moved there since Feb 14th 2020 and I have not heard anything from them yet. Thanks.

I applied under spousal sponsorship I gave biometric on Feb 25 but no answer it says your tracking Id no 2025****** has been dispatched to the IRCC Office for processing. application forwarded to Nairobi VO on March 4
I don’t know what will be the next step anyone knows the time line please reply thank you

Me too my biometrics enrollment on GC say same thing. ECAS says 'We started processing PA's application on February 18, 2020'. So I would like to believe that Nairobi VO received the application but they just don't send out AOR2... As for next steps, we can only wait and see..

Canada is seeking to process and finalize 6,000 spousal sponsorship applications each month between October and December 2020.



This major news has just been announced by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

IRCC has increased the number of staff that will review spousal sponsorship applications by 66 per cent in order to reduce wait times and process applications more quickly.

In addition, IRCC is going to utilize new technology in a pilot to digitize paper applications. This is to allow IRCC employees working remotely and at various work settings to be able to quickly process
