Anyone get passport back from ndvo?

i Submitted passport vfs Ahmedabad 7th feb

ndvo start process on feb 11th

today it’s 10days no update yet..

anyone received passport back from ndvo recently please post timeline or reply

submitted passport on feb 14th.....still wating.
I guess it takes 10 - 15 working days/ 3 weeks

Picked according to application received date in most cases. 99 percent of decision made and ppr are sent in batches
Which month group you belong to?

They received my application in June 2019

The you are close to DM. Many applicants from May June just got it recently. Keep checking ECAS

If we notice the tracker, all other visa offices issue PPR within couple of days after DM
Its only NDVO that wants to stand out even in this matter … it seems like they don't wanna leave the last chance to torture people like this .. as if whatever they have done in last 8-9 months was not enough ….. Such a unique Canadian consulate!!

I will share a story that is not relevant to situations here … but just sharing with you guys because this is the second time I am suffering due to substandard service of NDVO … I came to Canada as a dependent in the year 2000 and this happened while our application was in process … there were no passport stampings back then and the process was mostly paper based, so a printed paper called Record of Landing was meant to be visa …. we didn't hear back for a long time after medicals and as the medicals were about to expire, my dad decided to go and enquire at NDVO … he told the officials about our situations .. and as they entered file number into their system, it showed up that visas had been issued 2 months ago ... they asked if we didn't receive them by post ... my dad told them we didn't get anything after medical request ... the official asked to wait so he will go and check it inside (other cabins where the work is actually done, this guy was at the information window outside) ... he came back after sometime with a package which was a sealed envelope with our visas, even with our home address on it, which was supposed to be posted 2 months ago ... instead they kept it aside and later forgot about it... such an unbelievable act of irresponsibility … its irrelevant here but came to mind so thought of sharing

Everything is computerised now a days so chances of something like that are unlikely ... but still, the way they are handling files now is very disheartening ... some are left unattended for no reason .. some are transferred late .... now waiting for PPR... this... that

Majority of applications are cleared according to app received date... few exceptions are always there ... but inbetweeen feb march applicants who were left earlier are also getting updates now... i am also one of them like you ... my file was also not attended on time ... i received transfer late and then pre arrival much later than others from May group.. you will also get something inbetween other batches ... keep checking ECAS

Hello, I have a query. once the additional docs sent, will the status change in ECAS or GCKEY that they received file ? or will there be no changes ?

Nothing was updated on ECAS, but GCKEY was updated to we are reviewing additional documents you provided. I ordered CAIPS notes, but that still didn't have anything with regards to reviewing additional documents. So not sure what's happening. I just want to believe they are reviewing my documents and i'll have an update soon, hopefully!

If you are a June applicant then you will get it with a June batch I guess. And I think not all the people from June got DM’s so far and we have wait more for PPRs. I am waiting for PPR from 12th Feb. June 13th applicant.
