First women never heard about them. Bank Al habib is good too. If you’re gonna open new account it will take upto 7-10 days. I suggest standard chartered they are on the top of their game. Its your decision

Well mine account was also in USD dollars you need to tell the manager to buy cad dollars from usd in your account and then send it. No intermediary bank is required to convert them. They can convert usd to cad and then proceed with transaction.

I did it after mine was rejected. First i told the bank to send them in CAD but they send usd instead and payment was rejected. Mine bank also said they can only send usd i was tensed too visited many banks then I visited standard chartered a man there very helped me he called my bank manager and explained the procedure then they sent them again by buying CAD from USD from my account and after 2..3 days I got my gic certificate

According to my bank its not possible that funds transferred were in the US dollars as funds are automatically transferred to the respective currency in which country the funds are transferred. How should I avoid this problem next time as it is very time consuming.

Tell your bank to include the desired currency (CAD) to be converted when they select the mediator banks NASTRO which will wire transfer internationally. I used Allied Bank FC & at time of selection of mediator bank staff of Allied bank knew about the "SSGP" funds transfer.

What documents are required to attach, and what is fee?
Anyone who went to Lahore VAC for passport submission ?

How are you guys paying your tuition fees? Can I just direct transfer that money to my college from my PKR account ?
