Thank you. Yes you can send scan copy of police certificate. That's how my husband sent hisCongrats
I actually got an update today in my gc-key and they requested the updated documents, biometric page of passport, and police certificate.
Does anyone know if it’s alright to send in a scanned copy of the police certificate?

The fact that you've been married before and your spouse has not should not be an issue. It's 2020, divorce is common and can actually be a blessing for some of us, so I wouldn't worry about that piece. This being your second sponsorship might be a red flag, but if your relationship is genuine and you've got lots of proof, I don't see it being a problem.Hi All, I have a quick question. I initially got married in 2014, sponsored my spouse and she landed in January 2015. It did not work out and we separated in July 2015 and got divorced in 2016. Recently, I got married and have filed for the sponsorship of my spouse. So here is a thing, I am divorced however my spouse has never been married before meeting me. Since this is my second sponsorship and yes there is some marital difference as well (Divorce marrying never married person). Will it affect my case some how? I am being very positive though as everything is genuine and I have submitted all the proofs but I have been told that since this is my second sponsorship and there is a marital difference, you guys may have trouble. How true is that? Is there anybody else here with same scenario? Any input will be appreciated.
No need. It is already a gov. Document. Only a translated doc.Does anyone know if the police certificate has to be notarized? Or a certified translated copy should be ok.
Thank you, from my side, I have submitted all the proofs from first message to first call to first meeting and all. It was a 2 years of a gap between our first chat and wedding and we were in contact regularly with each other in between. I hope that should suffice. The fact that you've been married before and your spouse has not should not be an issue.
