Charges will drop and citizenship application impact

I was cross charged for assault with my gf. I got waiver and I can talk to my gf and we both have the same lawyer to resolve this. We found the charge will get dropped.

Do I need to worry about my citizenship application (like waiting for something) or I should be fine to apply?

1. You have to wait until the charges are officially dismissed.

We have one lawyer, it's not a conflict of a interest. We had restraining order, but I had this waived.

It is a conflict of interest. A lawyer is trying to do what is right for their client. Can’t have the best interest of the abuser and the abused at the same time.

Not sure, but we were cross charged. No one had any objection so far and it's getting resolved.

I prefer focusing on the question and if someone can share their experience for drop and it's impact on the application. Thanks.

I was myself charged in 2013, charges were conditionally withdrawn with the issuance of a Peace Bond and a Probation period of 1 year. After the completion of the peace bond and the successful completion of the Peace bond, i applied for the finger print and photo destruction.
I recently applied for my citizenship and am awaiting AOR.

Thanks for sharing, I am not sure if I will get a peace bond or probation. I am still waiting to know how this will get dropped. I am hoping this will have no probation.
