This may sound like an odd question, but once you create your profile and your eligible can you play around with it such as add like foreign experience or certificates to see if you will be awarded for the points? I just want to enter another year of experience and see what my points will be

There is no harm in playing around with it, you can decline your invitation if you created account that way.
If you want to do it to check for your points I'd suggest to check here https://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.asp not on profile.
It Dosent give me the right amount of points on this link that’s why I was thinking you playing around with my portfolio
