Hello,

Im new here. i hope someone will help me answer my questions.

I have an application for pr under pnp here in nova scotia. My girlfriend and i are planning to get married (she’s canadian). Will it affect my application? Or

what will happen to my application if i got married? Thank you.

you shouldnt be worry about that too much as soon as you contact IRCC through webform to update your information truthfully. It may takes IRCC more time to verify your new information. Note it is your responsibility to keep your personal info up-to-date otherwise it may cause misrepresentation and you dont want that to happen.

Its just that i read somewhere that once you got married, ur spouse will submit a spousal sponsorship then i need to submit pr application as well. Its supposed to be together. But what if i already have an application on process.

If you girlfriend is pr and Canadian citizen it will not affect anything in your application. Just send you marriage certificate copy to cic through webform

but if will affect the processing time? Will she still need to sponsor me?

So
If you pr is in process and you get married to a Canadian citizen it will not affect your application or processing time . He don’t need to sponsor you if you are applying pr yourself.

Hi,

just wonder if anybody applied for PR with MBA from TWU and been rejected by officers? do they recognize TWU MBA for Canadian education?
