Hi all, ECAS is still IP after the ghost update yesterday. However, I see a new line under PA side.

Before I had:

1. We received X's application for permanent residence on May 17, 2019.
2. We sent X a letter on October 7, 2019. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
3. We sent X medical instructions on October 9, 2019. To avoid delays, please provide us with the information requested as soon as possible. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
4. Medical results have been received.

Today, an additional line has been inserted (second line) indicating they STARTED processing yesterday (Jan 23, 2020).

1. We received X's application for permanent residence on May 17, 2019.
2. We started processing X's application on January 23, 2020.
3. We sent X a letter on October 7, 2019. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

There is no any notification for Ghost update. need to check myCIC every day.

Local VO ( not CPC-M) start processing your parents PR file ( In process for PR file )

Hi robert, so my PIL's file should be at CPC-M though right? We previously got email from CPC-M requesting the long list of docs...

How long is my police certificate good for?
For the country or territory where you currently live, the certificate cannot be older than 6 months from the day you apply.

For any other country or territory where you’ve stayed for 6 or more months in a row, the certificate must have been issued after you left. You can use the certificate for your IEC application as long as you haven’t gone back to that country or territory.

If your police certificate doesn’t have an expiry date or document number
If your police certificate doesn’t have an expiry date, select a day that’s at least 1 year after the date it was issued. It doesn’t have to be exactly 1 year after.

If your police certificate doesn’t have a document number, type N/A in the field.

If you can’t get one in time
If you can’t get a police certificate before the deadline to submit your application, you can upload:

• a copy of the receipt to prove you’ve applied for one or
• a screenshot of the confirmation page or email you got when you ordered your police certificate online

An officer will send you a request letter in your account to ask for your police certificate later on. You must give us the certificate by the deadline shown in the request letter or your application will be refused.

I think they have different validity for different category. The one you have mentioned here is for "International Experience Category". The one i have posted is for specifically "Parents and Grandparents Category". Please correct me if i am wrong. Also, if anyone have different information please share your info and source.

Saw "profile updated" on mycic yesterday when I checked and then I checked ecas this morning and saw an additional line on PA side. Like robert said, we didn't get any notification, I just check it everyday lol.

I sent something like this using webform. Also called CIC and they sent it for me too.

my parents have lose/disappearing fingerprint. My parents' fingerprints also do not work at the local bank (which told them it uses new IDEMIA/MORPHO devices made in France). These devices capture 90% of the people fingerprints and unfortunately my parents fall within the 10%. Also I checked with the vac centre in dubai (where they did the original fingerprint ) and the vac centre informed me that they never had this issue, hence it must be lose fingerprints for both my father and mother. I appreciate if you can accept the current fingerprints with the existing quality considering the above possible cause and also that there is no vac centre in XXXX country/province hence it is not just a matter of the bio fee but the travel difficulties and fees. If not can you pls kindly extend the deadline as the request was only sent to mycic account and I missed it"
