Hello Guys
Can anyone tell how many points do you with 1 year work experience in Canada and 2 years work experience in Canada under Canadian experience class?
Thanks

Express Entry Canada Work Experience Points Grid (no spouse):
  • None - 0 points
  • Less than one year - 0 points
  • One year - 40 points
  • Two years - 53 points
  • Three years - 64 points
  • Four years - 72 points
  • Five years or more - 80 points
Yes that's what I got. A 25 points increase.
The difference between 1 year of experience and 2, is only 13 points if you have no spouse and 11 otherwise.
There should be something else.

You get 13 under Core/Human capital and 12 under transferrability but dependent on education/language i believe
I got a +25 point boost going from 1 to 2 years.

Just looked back at my old scores and seems like I got 25 too. I was wrong.

I am looking at my application and not sure where 12 points went. Age, Education, First Official Language Proficiency, Canadian Work Experience, Skill Transferability - Education, CRS - Canadian education.

EDIT: went through CRS calculator and found it

Skill transferability factors
Education
  • A) Official Language proficiency and education = 13
  • B) Canadian work experience and education = 25

How can you get 25 points? Do you have oversea work experience?

Thanks.

Looking at everybodys CRS and work ex, I think my score of 470 is a clean bowled with no opportunity to play at all. :(

LOL I suggest you never give up hope. I was once at 416 right after the draws (cut-off 413) happened back in 2017. and I am still here. So enjoy the forum and keep on improving!

Are you giving up now?

Remember you said your friend most times predicts accurately and that his next prediction is 468/469

Why then are you in doubt?

Hi, I have just received my wes report for my mba, I upgraded my report which had my bachelor. Now they have added both masters and bachelors in the same report.

Shall I change my bachelor wes reference with the new reference number?

actually my initial plan was to remove my bachelor all together from express entry; however, my master’s eca has bachelor’s as well so I think i have to put both, but still confused weather if i need to keep my old bachelor reference or update it.

plus i want to show my bachelor in my EE profile because i am applying to sinp EE stream, and my bachelor is related to my work experience, unlike my masters which has nothing to do with my work, just to be safer.

Experienced people please advise me.

Update your EE profile to the latest WES report and include both Bachelors and Masters on your profile with the new reference numbers for both.

All the best.

Wait till next week, when there's a huge chance of a back to back draw. If it happens, I bet the score will, at least, match 470 (but I'm betting on 468-469).

To be quite honest, I believe this is going to be the very last window for ~469-470 candidates in 2020 (if not ever). I really don't see the cut-off going below 470 anytime soon. So, cross your fingers, and let's hope this back to back draw happens in January 29th.

Sorry for invading your conversation but I just need to clarify if you can choose more than one (1) type of education in your EE profile?

Yes you can. While adding the education, fill up the whole form and at the end appears ADD, clicking which, the whole document is saved in a row at the bottom of the field; and the field is now open to add another credential. One can do this as many times as they require. The credentials will just keep on adding.
Same with the work experience.

Thanks. I'll check on that.
Will that increase the CRS score or just the highest educ attainment?
