Mine's also in process due to this provincial social assistance check. I am wondering if applicant can request a verification letter from province and send it to IRCC to speed up the process.

Don’t think requesting a copy to send to them will speed up the process. They clearly have their own system going on and you are unlikely to make them process your application faster than they currently are doing. Each visa officer could be responsible for a huge volume of files.

Anyone here who is an Indian citizen & resident who had to apply for PCC from Democratic Republic of Congo? According to the information on CIC’s website the first step is to contact theIr embassy. When contacted, their embassy in Delhi has no information about the PCC and are not helping. Any experience or suggestions please?

The 1st letter I received has this note below whereas I also received a 2nd letter which is a reminder, the 2nd letter said to submit the original PCC.

"Your relative is required to obtain the police certificate from that country’s law enforcement
authorities. Please send a copy of the original police certificate to this office as soon as they
receive it."

So a little confused it CPC Missisaugga is accepting the scanned copy of the document.

The letter cpc m and other LVO sending clearly asking to provide everything via email. There is no reason to be confused here. The "original" means "non-edited" in this case.

Hi All
My parents application has been received on May 28. They received their medical and biometric tests on Oct 25. They did all and the web shows that the medical has been received. I also emailed them all required docs which they asked in another email(police check, Resume and ...)
It did not show any date for receiving those docs and biometric test in the website. I sent them an inquiry and they confirmed that all have been received. I am wondering what do you think about their Pass request date??

I submitted additional documents on 9th October . Moreover i had Biometrics after that which was done on 18th November .

I went to BLS yesterday for my Mom's PCC
Docs : all my Canada papers - PR, landing paper, my Passport copies, Mom's front page and back page of passport!
Her passport, a letter advising - I'm sponsoring her.

The waiting is atleast for 2 hrs

did you take any Ontario photo ID for your mom? Website says it's required. Could you confirm?

Hello guys
Have you guys ever seen any case where some one received 2nd AOR from LVO but no SA letter or even DM on Sponsorship part ?
I am May 23rd applicant and on Dec 5 i got OAR from Singapore office saying that my parents file had been received on Nov 15, and on ECAS, Sponsorship is still “ app received” but PA “ we started processing your application for permanent residence on Dec 5 2019” !??
Please share some of your thoughts? Thank you !

I am in process for 7 weeks now waiting for this SCC check. The province has confirmed to me that they responded back to IRCC within 2 days after they received my SSC check from them, they said they send the report back electronically via encrypted software. I am at loss for next steps. IRCC has the province response. I don't know what the protocol at IRCC is to review incoming requests. Extremely concerned right now as file delayed for completely trivial reasons.

I am also May 28 applicant and my file is in process since Oct 15. I am very concerned. I know my husband’s and my income is more than enough to sponser my parents. My husband sponsored me back in 2013 not sure if i am still under financial responsibility or no. Also we moved to 3 different provinces in last 4 years so may be thats taking long time . But i am going to order Gcms notes tomorrow.

CIC have asked my dad(principle applicant) to provide more details. However to prove that they are my parents, i dont have a voter id. But have a PAN card where my dad name is available. In SSLC certificates my relationship with dad is not available. Only place it is clearly mentioned is passport, I am surprised that cic did not consider the passport copy we sent to prove family relation.

Do I need to send all of these or only the ones I have with a cover document in email ?

this is where I was entering wrong number.
I counted my kids...
what the heck though, why don't they tell us not to count kids?

My parents file was received on 6th june and i got file number on 30th September, but after that I haven’t receive any correspondence from cic . Is that the normal processing time?
