Relax. CIC doesn’t care about scores etc. It is just competition.

FYI - A memo went out to the entire research group within Google few weeks back to apply for Canadian PR as a back-up option. The group consists of 150 and more PhD’s. This group easily will have score exceeding 470. This is just one set I know about. There could be tens of thousands of folks doing the same.

Don’t fall into conspiracy theories. No one is out to get you or keep scores inflated. It is just the sign of times. I mentioned in an earlier post that 450’s is the new 430’s. But for a freak occurance there is little chance of it going back. Best to try and improve scores if possible. Good luck to all going forward.
The memo went out few weeks back and they all achieved CLB 9 and got their ECA report within 2 weeks???
Again this can't be.... We all know what it takes to prepare for Ielts and evaluate a credential.... Everyone suddenly maxing out Ielts too? Seems it is true that there is a market for Ielts
Wow

I was very positive of a B2B or a draw on 20th/23rd as they are short of target, but today draw have a caveat for same. Remember the immigration minister changed, everyone have his/her own thoughts/plans , different from predecessors.

Still IRCC is unpredictable and hopefully they till give a sweet surprise.

Some people say that there's an increase on candidates with CRS of 470+ due to immigration being harder to the US each passing moment. If they have H1B visa normally they have a graduate degree at least since that gives more chances to get one. I don't think the cut-off is going to decrease a lot in 2020 but I hope it does so that more people get the chance of changing their lives for the better. Good luck to all!

my score is 470, i got invitation before, and last week my application was rejected due to incomplete docs, for police certificate and it was really surprising as the docs were fine and they were translated by certified translator and there was a copy of original doc that includes the sign of translator and there was written that it's true copy of doc and officer mentioned why i didn't provide original doc.
now i created my profile again and it's really tough to me i don't know i would get the IAT again or not as my score will decrease on march because of the age.
Hi does it mean everything has to be provided in original document, not scanned version? Can you appeal this?

This was very clear back in May...

I was in the range of 450s and I expected the score to go up into the space. So I didn't waste anytime and took IELTS again in July. Got ITA right after receiving my results and got my PR now.

People really need to see into the future, not just hoping history would just repeat itself.

If CLB9999 is what keeping you from getting 470+, go retake that goddamn IELTS instead of whining here. If you say that's impossible, then your Canada dream is just day dreaming.
hey,
congratulations on your PR. I'm just really curious from your signature. It shows the time from your ITA to your PPR is about 1 month. Is this really possible? did you do something differently to speed up your process?
Please help! thanks :)

there are different opinions on B2B and their agenda for 2020 is still a mystery. I think it is never coming back below 460 even in the draws with higher ITAs from next year. I think commenting here will not help getting ITA. Giving up this thread for now. @facethereality I will be back in March with 484. That's my conviction. God bless us all.

If you retake the IELTS, will the most recent score be sent to IRCC or the highest score you got? I'm currently at CLB 8 on my IELTS and just wondering if I don't achieve my goal of CLB 9 if I retake the exam and got a lower score, will that be the result IELTS will send or the highest score I got?

Hi, guys. I just read about the OINP skill trade draw, I'm qualified(score 460 and NOC 7321, studied and worked in Ontario), I didn't get any email or message in my account. Does that mean they didn't choose me this time? Maybe bacause I came back to my home country and didn't reside in Ontario since September this year?
Thx

Express Entry pool as of September 27, 2019
CRS score range Number of candidates
601-1,200

451-600 8,946
401-450 40,254
441-450 8,704
431-440 10,056
421-430 6,604
411-420 7,022
401-410 7,868
351-400 44,577
391-400 7,886
381-390 9,489
371-380 9,326
361-370 9,187
351-360 8,689
301-350 25,350
0-300 3,717
Total 123,423.
Look at that population in 451- 600 range 8,946 which is on September 27th . Now in December 11th draw in 451- 600 it's close to 16,000. This explains the whole story why competition is getting insane

Is there hopes for another draw this month? I’m confused and really don’t know what’s going on. Or is that all for the draws for this year?
