Quick Question for some one who has done soft-landing and had someone else receive the PR Card - Does canadapost require any signature by the recepient ? Or do they just drop it off in the mailbox?

I was still in Canada, but can confirm they just dropped it in my uncle's mailbox.

I can answer it for u, they just dropped mine in the mailbox when no one was home .

Guys, final update: Landing: 06 Nov. Ghost Update: Nov 22. Approved: Nov 25. Received in mailbox by my sister: Nov 27. Thank you everyone.

The only thing that changed in my portal is that my CoPR is now valid, I'm still waiting for the PR Card updates.

Hello everyone,
I landed on 9th November in Toronto. I have not yet received any ghost update or any mail from CIC. I have also linked my application to my cic account. I called CIC agents yesterday and they confirmed that they have not yet started processing my application. Is this normal? Anyone who landed on 9th November got their PR card approved recently? Great if someone can provide some insight to this. Thanks in advance

Actully we land today at port of entry will they will apply our pr card by self and in how many days we can get pr card ? Becuse we have to go india amd return back at 14 jan so is it possible that we will get our cards before this date

When you land, where do you check about the PR card application status if it is approved or not? Is it linked to the permanent residency profile under GCkey? or we need to make a new application?

I got a photo retake request for my PR card and I did send them the photos which got delivered on 12th of Nov. I have no updates yet and now I am getting worried as I am traveling to India in January. Did anyone get a photo retake request, how many days did it take for you to receive PR card. Can someone please share their timeline.
