I'm in the process of renewing my UK passport including changing my name, once I get it through I will renew my PR card to match. I got my photos taken today and wrote my name and DOB on the back - I used my married name on it but now I am second guessing and wondered if I should have used the name on my existing PR card. Anyone know?

No- I have to do the passport first because I need that to show name change on an official document since my marriage certificate was issued outside of Canada.
As long as you have no plans to travel outside of Canada my vote would be passport then PR card given then you have the complete documentation set to show name change, old passport, new passport , old card and anything else required to renew a card with a new name
I’m clear on the order I need to things- that’s not what my original question was. This is the last thing I need to update (married almost 10 years!)
