Opened a bank account with Scotia. Need to wire the funds. Please Help!

Scotia bank states that Western Union wont work so what did you do? i am trying to open a foreign account in meezan bank and trying to send through that if it works will update here
if you managed to find a way please do share it seems pakistani banks suck at wire transfer

Chinese banks such Bank of China and ICBC have branches here in Toronto and Vancouver. You can try to ask your local Chinese bank if you can open a Canadian account and wire your funds between.

Can I use telegraphic transfer service through western union for sending money to my international account? Because my local bank doesn't provide this service.

You cant use moneygram or western union what you need to do is go to your local bank and open a foreign account and send the money through that account with your own name its needs to be your own account also in Pakistan you need to be an active taxpayer to have a foreign account so get your self registered with FBR too

Almost 4 months the biggest hassle was to get ACTIVE status on the fbr website meaning i had to become a filer after that was done i went to meezan bank opened an account for US dollars and deposited the dollars that took arouns 1 week and after that i just filled the forms and sent thw money but it was rejected because i sent the exact amount 10200 CAD which for some weird reason scotia bank didn't accept after waiting for 15 days for the money to get bacj in my account i immediately sent the money again this time 10500 CAD i sent the money on 8 nov and received the GIC cert on 20th Nov applied for Visa on 22nd NOV

My application is still in process know that SDS doesn't guarantee a visa you still have to put up a very strong case i already have one rejection
I dont exactly know how my elder brother just contacted a lawyer he knew and even then it took a long time do you have anyone in your family that is an active taxpayer registered with fbr?? They must know the procedure
