I am working and living in Vancouver BC and I submitted my application in Vancouver as well, just don't know why it goes to VO Sydney instead of Vancouver...
I was in Edmonton and I also do not know why my application went to Vancouver.
What is you AOR?

After 8 months of waiting, I got a refusal letter from IRCC telling me my work experience does not meet the requirements. In the past 10 years, I was a PhD student serving as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for four years under NOC 2131 Civil Engineers. From May 2016 to January 2019, I was working as an Environmental Engineer (Also under NOC 2131 Civil Engineers). The officer fixated on the time I was a graduate student and denied my application based on that, instead on my latest job qualification.
The letter indicates that the decision is FINAL. No request for information or anything. Just a letter after exactly 8 months to refuse the application.
Anybody has such an experience before?

EE: 2nd Jan
CRS Score: 458
ITA: 10th Jan
AOR: 5th Mar
Medical Passed: 18th April
Biometric Passed: 25th April
Background Passed: 25th April
Refused: 7th Nov
I am very sorry to hear that.
I am applying under the same NOC and I worked as a TA for a long period. Although I declared that I was a TA, I claimed the points based on my experience only as an engineer.
I am still waiting.

Any help plz?
I am very confused now.
I just called the IRCC and they told me that the Security has not strarted yet, however, they send me a reply to a webform saying that it has started.
I am totally lost.
Anybody has a similar situation before?
Interesting, You mind sharing the "text" of what you sent in the webform, i ll try to send the same. I have only called so far and they say criminality done and security not started. I was thinking of sending webform as well. March 24 AOR in sydney.

Submitted 2nd Webform today. 1st one was for Child's passport update back in August.
I have call them every 15 days and status is still the same. Hoping this webform does some kind of trick although chances are i will get typical response.
24th March AOR in Nova Scotia(everyhing done except eligibility in review for last 1.5 months, security not started) Hopefully can get decision before end of year if not less.

Lot of life decisions are dependent on this. Will update what i get from the webform

For passport submission, specifically for New Delhi VO...is it mandatory for dependants to visit the VFS...or can the primary applicant submit their passports on their behalf?

In case of latter, any authorisation letter or anything else required from the dependants?

Can anyone who has visited New Delhi VFS kindly confirm?

Many thanks.
I think primary applicant can submit passport for dependents as well, although I am not very sure. Better to check with VFS and they should be able to guide you. Best luck!!

Sorry I just saw your post now.
I think the text in my webform will not help you much as theere is a conflict between my call and the response of the webform.
But anyway I was saying that I have many life issues are pending and I need to know what should I do for it and I gave an example.
I applied while I was in Canada and now I am outside.

Sorry to hear that mate. Did you satisfy full time job condition? Did you specify that you were working for at least 20 hours at your work and getting paid? You may have to get a legal advise on this one.

Yes, in the letter, they didn't even mention my full time employment that I still had when I got the ITA. A letter from the company included more than 2 years worth of pay stubs. Now I've been completely locked out of the cic.ga.ca (GCkey) account but before it disappeared, my background check status changed to 25th April so they checked my BG on the day I got my Biometrics but sat on it for 7 months without any request for information, just "I'm not convinced you meet the skilled worker requirement". I have a PhD in Environmental Eng. and worked for 2.5 years before my work authorization expired in the USA.
Any idea where I can get legal advice on this?
Thanks guys and sorry for ranting here.

You said that the Graduate teaching assistant experience you included in Civil Engineer NOC code . However, there is a different NOC Code for TA/RAs.
Even if you show the letter as per the requirement, the NOC code may not be appropriate which led the officer to reject your file.

Contact Mark Holthe @ https://stringam.ca/immigration-mark-holthe/
He can help you.

Good Luck.

Can you call it and confirm with agent is your security passed or in process?
I want to believe that security is in process although the GCMS notes doesn't say anything about it. Regrettably, I've called the number I got on this forum and cannot reach an agent.

Did TA work experience give any credit to your final score? If so they have right to decline and you may reopen that case even if it’s close. I guess, find a lawyer. God bless you.
