Hi All ,

Can you please assist me -
I sent PCC and other documents like form 5562 / Identity doc / Passport copies / CV via email they mentioned in the letter .
My Question is -How do we know that everything is in order ? Do they send a response when they receive it ?

My Parents had their Medical in Max Hospital Chandigarh . I believe they did not have any issues .

They wont send a confirmation email. You can call customer service to confirm it or wait till you see an update on mycic account once the officer reviews it.

Today (Nov-07-2019) I got back my Bio-Metric Fees refunded to my credit card. So I assume it must have got processed yesterday (Nov-06-2019).

Yes for all we had In process for PR and then when our files reached London office, it turned to Application received.

As per my analysis no one from tracker of London office is In process.

The only magical case of London office which got PPR in 2019 had parents as UK citizens.

Because they are UK citizens. I hope for the best and get any news by the end of this year. I know waiting is the the only solution for us. Good Luck for everyone and hope everyone will get reunion with there parents or in laws. CANADA (L)

Nancy , You can phone them to book an appointment , I believe they uploaded the documents right away . But i got an email from CIC a week after for additional test for my mother as she had a heart problem . So she went the next day to get got her test done and they scanned the report and sent it right away through E-medical system,

Need help:

online status for my parents application says as follows -
Application received - May 2nd
Started processing - Aug 2nd

I haven't received any other correspondence from CIC yet. Many people I know have received medical or biometrics requests already.

Is there anybody else in the same boat as me? I tried calling CIC but there is no way to speak to a live agent.

I would suggest you to also check your emails spam folder. May be they have issued PPR too

Hi JITB,

I got the same query to submit Proof of Relationship and sent a copy of my old cancelled Indian Passport which shows the parents name on it as I had nothing else which had the name of both my Parents on it. Heck, even the Birth Certificate only had my Mom's first name and not her complete name.

Anyways, did you receive any update after sending documents proving your relationship?
