My Score is 471, should i try to increase my score by appearing for IELTS (8.5 7.5 7.5 7.5) or any other way ?
Could learning french be an option ?
Or i should just wait for the cut-off to drop ?
I'm at 471 too, and just rest assured, we are very likely to get ITA in November, say 95% chance; and I predict 70% chance at next draw (Nov 13)

I say 7 draws every week from now till 18 dec is the last...
I don't know about that. Trudeau is swearing in his cabinet on the 20th Nov (Wednesday). I don't think they will be doing a draw on that week but as I posted earlier, fairly certain that there will be at minimum 5 draws, if not 6 and there's only 7 weeks to go so we're about to have a bunch of back to back's.

My best guess:

Nov 6, 13 and 27
Dec 4, 11 and 18

We've had many 3 week and 4 week delayed draws, it also goes the other way as well (back to back's) but it's hard to see that ahead of time for a lot of people since this is an emotional journey. Works the same way in financial markets, best time to buy is often what looks like the worst time (2008). Yin and Yang.

FWIW, I think the numbers through the year have plagued partly because of elections as they may have been trying to keep a low profile to not have immigration become a serious conversation topic in the elections. Now that elections are out of the way, they have a go-ahead to reach yearly targets and we still have 22,000 - 23,000 ITA's to go. Total for this year should be around 94,000 - 95,000.

That’s exciting news! Thank you very much! The 4 week draw in Feb 2019 made the score jump 20 points, was worried they would do it again Q1 of 2020. Now I'm less nervous :)
Don't worry dear...You will get ITA sooner or later either way

I'm so sorry to hear that,dear..you lose to tie break. The cut off date was August 29.
It was quite frustrating ... but I'm hopeful for the next draw ... if they didn't surprise us with another Federal one :p

Jokes aside, I'm praying we will get one next week, for the sake of all of us.

That would be an awesome surprise if they conduct B2B draw next week but you'll still get an ITA even if the next draw will be in 2 weeks time anyway. It's still a win-win situation for you. :)

Wow ! 495 , never seen such score!! You can't have 2 different profiles ...
same i have a score of 495 without spouse. with spouse its 460. I want to file this together that is why otherwise i would have got the ITA right after i entered the pool. ::( I hope it go down this year.

I am at 464 with spouse, an outland candidate. Will lose 5 points on November 26. Can jump to 475 with IELTS before losing the points. What do you guys think? Should I and my wife reenter the IELTS or should I just wait?
