It looks like a scam to me. These types of farms are not prevalent in Canada. I would advise extreme caution.
Why bring someone to the other side of the planet to work on a farm when labour is readily avaialable here already? It does not make much sense!

More then likely fake, paste the job offer. If it is offering you accommodation, flights, food , a unrealistic salary , that would mark it as a fake

No one in Canada can help you to get your money back. You will have to pursue these individuals through the court system in your own country. If these individuals aren't in the same country as you, there's really nothing you can do and your money is gone.

Sorry you lost your money. Looks like you just deposited $600 to this "Connie Reyes" in the Philippines. (I guess you weren't alive in the 80s or early 90s as this was the name of a famous actress during that time!)

Next time, you should look at this very helpful website called Google.com

You would have seen before paying the money that "IELTS waiver", "Connie Reyes", and "Canberra General Farm" (as stated, Canberra is all the way in Australia) are all scams.

I did read that scammers deliberately put incorrect information and grammar in their offer letters because those who still manage to ignore these red flags are apparently those gullible enough to fall for it.
