My husband’s medical has been received in May , after that haven’t heard anything from Cic. It’s has been 5 months after medical. I am so worried. What is the time period after medical?should I write to them? or should I wait ?

Yes, it looks almost the same. I hope our prayers are answered quickly. Thank you for sharing your timeline. Let us know if you hear anything from IRCC/CIC

Finally my spouse got the interview message just today which is scheduled on 03 November, 2019. Neither me or my souse received any email. The new message appeared in the GCKEY message field.

I have questions. Please help me who have already faced interview.
>> They have asked for the following documents:
  • Generic Application Form for Canada [IMM 0008] (PDF, 536 KB)
  • Additional Dependants/Declaration [IMM 0008DEP] (PDF, 472 KB)
  • Schedule A – Background/Declaration [IMM 5669] (PDF, 170 KB)
  • Additional Family Information [IMM 5406] (PDF, 88 KB)
  • Use of a Representative [IMM 5476] (PDF, 55 KB)
Do I need to make all these document again for this interview?? I believe those are already submitted during application.

>> Any suggestion that is helpful for this interview session??

## Luckily I will be there in my country during the interview date, so I will also go with my spouse.

Hey: good to know that you got the interview date. In the letter, did they ask u to join in the interview or it's just for the PA?? I am also on the interview queue but didn’t receive any interview letter yet... I hope I will get that soon too. Best of luck ....please share your experience with us.

Sponsor attendance is not mandatory in the interview.

Form my experience I can say you have no option rather than wait!!!

Whatever you do (send email, make phone call, GCMS note rquest, webmail) nothing will help to process your application faster. I have done all these and there was NO RESULT!!! They (CIC) will do what they have decided for you and they will do that at their own pace when they planned to do it. my spouse's medical was done in last December and after 11 month I heard from them. They scheduled an interview.
There are some smart people who created such a system that you can't chase them or can't pin point your file status or can't ask anyone why the delay is happening.
So moral of the story is DO NOT CHASE THEM.... just pray and check your email and GCKEY both in regular basis.
Best wishes.......!

This is good thing that u r in Bangladesh now.

Hi All, Any Bangladeshis living abroad here? I am just wondering, my partner (Bangladeshi, the PA) is now living in Macau. And we are applying outland. Would they send our application to Hong Kong or Singapore? Also, if an interview is requested, how much of time is there before the day of the interview? (One month or longer?) Because my partner needs HK Visa, which takes 1 month to get (they won't issue it faster, whatever the circumstance), so if the interview is scheduled exactly 1 month later, there is no time for him to apply for HK visa. Help me shed some light on this issue, thanks a bunch. ;)
