Not sure If Canada has my biometric.

I applied for a study visa around late-2014 then I got an approval for landing from CIC.

So then, my first entry in Canada was Jan/2015.

I'm not sure if I gave my biometric to Canada during these times.

For additional information, my last study visa was issued at 2018/April which is something I kind of got recently.

Given this, I feel like Canada has my biometric since they gave me a new visa?

Have you been studying in Canada and following all the laws and rules? You will have to mention your whole history including past study permits. If you neglect to mention these things expect that a ban will be likely. Honesty is most important to CIC.

Yes I've been following the rules. I mentioned everything and you're required to write it the whole thing on the document. They wouldn't give me a new visa otherwise. I'm just curious if biometric is a new thing since Canada gave me a new visa without asking(which makes me think I might have given to them) and I'm not sure if I gave them one in the past(I was fairly young atm so I don't remember)..
