Hello,

What is the process to report a change in family circumstances such as birth of a child? What steps do I need to take and what documents do I need to submit? We still meet the criteria etc, just want to do this in the proper manner.

Also, we received DM as sponsor already, would this change our DM status?

Hello, my application arrived on May 27th. I just checked the ecas and it said Decision Made for Sponsorship Application Status but In Process for Permanent Residence Application Status. My parents got request for biometrics today in the afternoon. I couldn’t link the application to my account though.

Can you post the in process date of your SA application. You can look at the eCAS for that.

Also what is your parents' country of citizen and your province of residence?

So my mother does not have a birth certificate and she does not have any school certificates as well. Should i only submit the Voter I card?
Also i have received medical request in Aug and now additional documents on Sep 27 but have not received anything for biometrics. Do they usually send this later or before asking for additional documents

Hello everyone,

Can my Korean wife sponsor her sister to come to Canada? Both of her parents passed away when she was young, so her sister was her guardian.

People have told me no, because she has a spouse already in Canada, me. I'm Canadian. This doesn't seem to match what I have read about Parent and Grandparent Family Class however.

I then heard if we have a baby, then it is possible because the baby needs a next of kin if no grandparents.

Any insight here?

Hi everyone,

I have had to renew my passport and I believe I need to send a copy of the full passport to IRCC. Is it best to scan and send via email or by the Webform? I am not very computer orientated so which would be the easiest way for me to do this. Any assistance would be appreciated. Many thanks
