The current rules are such that biometrics need to be done in 30 days and right now there isn't a single 15 min slot for the next 30 days if what you're saying is correct. That means heavily overbooked. What can be done in that case?

I would expect the calendar to show the days as unavailable if they are indeed unavailable, even on a Sunday, for both Mumbai and Delhi but it didn't show that either. Not sure why but there are others who are facing the same issue.

Not sure if you were able to sort this out. I did my biometrics from Mumbai VAC. The website is misleading. I received BIL on 19th June and tried to book an appointment for 22nd Jun (Saturday). Believe me, it did not show a single slot for next 2 weeks. The workaround is, they have chat option on website, so as soon as their working hour starts (morning 8 am), you ask for an appointment. The agent will give you clear picture. I did the same on 21st June and to my surprise entire 22nd June slots were available.

I have all my funds in the form of fixed deposits,however in the bank certificate i didnot mention about the opening dates,closing dates and their scanned copies too!i only wrote that i have funds in the form of fixed deposits...will that be enough or should i attach them now through web form? When you show FDs are PoF, you have to show when the FD account was opened so that you meet the 6 months average balance. If you do not meet the 6 months average balance, you have to show where the vends came from.

Hello Sir, I would like to inform you about the recent update on my application, My application is now 13 months older..... Yesterday I called at the CIC call center and the agent told that my Eligibility ,Criminality and Security are all passed... But decision is still pending on account of Medicals, My medicals has got expired more than a month ago and in wait for the new Med Request. May i know that how long now it can take to come to a decision...Are their any chances of more delay... Thank you so much for your advice. You really are a Ray of hope to so many applicants..... It all depends on the officer. The Immigration Officer may just decide to extend your medicals and send you a PPR, or ask you for a Re-meds. If they ask you for re-meds, that will take another 3-5 weeks as your medicals have to be sent, processed and only after they are passed will you receive the PPR.

However, if they decide to extend the meds, then you should have the PPR in a few days.

Hi Manmeet, my aor is march 2nd and i received the ppr mail today. In the ppr mail, they have asked to inform if there is pregnancy/child birth. I am due on Nov 25. How should i inform cic? Should i send the doctors certificate along with passport to ndvo? Or shud i just raise a webform stating the details? What should be the next step? Kindly suggest..

Just send a CSE and inform them. There is no need for any doctors certificate. Also send an email to CPC Ottawa.

I had called in mid of July when the agent informed that eligibility is marked as MET. Your thoughts on this please?

If the security has not yet commenced then the eligibility is not yet passed.

i had 15% of my fund previously kept as FD, 10 months back. I am showing the remaining 85% as gift deed.

In this situation, do i either need any LOE or any GIFT DEED for the money which i kept as Fd, 10 months back?

I am already giving Gift deed and LOE for the 85% recently transferred money.

You need a LoE and explain the PoF and also the gift deed, as in who is gifting and show documents such as the transfer of funds etc.

My AOR is 17th september, Added spouse by end of October and was asked furtherance medicals for spouse inactive TB for sputum test
After that we haven't received any info.
It's been more than a year now , ordered GCMS where it shows eligibility pass, criminality passed and security blank
Info sharing complete.

If they raise a PFL for spouse medicals will they give it now or after completion of security screening ??

The last response we received from the VO was that file is pending for review by officer..

What was the result of the TB sputum test? Did you ask your panel physician?

Yes it was inactive and this was confirmed with our specialist as well
Took TB treatment for 3 months before the sputum test and the same document was submitted to IRCC.

What do you think the delay is ? Is it because we are under security screening ?

The traffic offences are usually not shown in your PCC and are not an issue. However, for Australia, I remember if you lived in QSW or Victoria, then you may also have to submit the driving records.

If the driving record is not required, no need to worry, just submit your PCC.

Thank you Legalfalcon, but I am very worried right now. I contacted CIC and knew that until now my criminality is still progressing (my aor May 19) and eligibility not started. It seems like my criminality is taking longer? Is it related to the traffic tickets?

Yes they confirmed that their system wasn't working and even they can't book an appointment for the same reason. Apparently they use the same system. Asked me to check been later in the day and it was sorted later in the day.
