This is my first time on this forum and need dire help. My fiance (soon to be husband) is applying for his permanent residency. His work visa is coming up for expiry as of February.
Will he still be able to work when we submit his PR application before his original work visa expires? I don't know how it works and need some peace of mind.
Does he need to apply for open work permit once we submit his PR application? My understanding is that it will take about 4-5 months for approval - but does it mean he cannot work until it is approved?
