Yes! Or you can even use your receipt number from your fees.

It appears the "In Process" has started for Ontario, and perhaps Alberta. Historically, this is a slower process as it is dependent upon different offices across the country who each have their own processing times it seems. .

For those on the spreadsheet not showing an AOR, it is possible some simply have not told this forum. However, it is also possible there is a delay. If you have not received your AOR and you call IRCC please let us know what they say so the rest can benefit.

I’ve been checking my status online using my UIC number For the last few months. Today when I checked the website said they were not able to identify you using the information you provided. I tried with the receipt number too and same thing. Anyone else have this problem?
