TRV decision made in a week.

Hi all,
I applied for a visit visa online on 03 September 2019. On 4th September I got biometric request which I completed on 5th of September. On 11 of September I got correspondence letter as well the letter requesting my original passport. In CIC portal, final decision stating as approved. I submitted my passport on 12th September.
My question is whether my visa is approved or refused?

I applied from Sri Lanka. More over I have just recently applied for my PR under family class spouse sponsor. I read few threads where they mentioned that Visit visa approval while family class application in process is very low. So bit worried about whethere TRV approved or not

You will have to wait and see when you get your passport back. It would be pretty lucky if you are approved given your ties to Canada are less than to Sri Lanka and your savings are only 6K. We sometimes see random approvals.

If you applied online then and they asked for your passport then you have a good chance its approved. They wouldn't waste time like that asking for your passport if they were going to just refuse it. I mean something could always come up but I would say chances are good. Also you said earlier that you looked online and it said final decision approved.

Its quite urgent if someone can guide me. I applied for TRV on 3rd july 2019. Done my biometric on 29 july, got my correspondence letter on 15 august 2019. After that i didn't heard anything from them. Please help me if it is normal or what could be their decision.
I even submit my concerns through web form and yesterday spoke to their representative in abu dhabi. She forwarded my uci number. But still didn't hear anything. Need kind help from experts.

Hi, kindly check your cic account and see the status of your application because it may still be under processing though some are lucky to have gotten decision letter few hours after correspondence letter

Thanks a lot for your valuable responses. I got a call from VFS to collect my processed passport as well I can see counterfoil details in my CIC account with document number and expiry date.
