IndeedCIC processing time increased to 22 months from 21 months now ! , I am now begining to wonder if we will ever get PR in Canada. Almost 2 years for PR in Quebec while skilled workers like us gets PR in rest of Canada within 4 to 6 months.
Was it a mistake coming to work in Quebec ?
I think nowadays the trend for medicals is towards the end of the estimated processing time.Hi All,
I applied PR through quebec skilled worker program on Sept 2014, below details are the time frames;
1) CSQ approved on 23-July-2018 (Not received the post by-hand)
2) Duplicate copy received on 30-Oct-2018
3) PR application received at IRCC on 26-Nov-2018
4) AOR received on 16-Feb-2019
Waiting for medical and other further steps....Now the application estimated completion date is August, 2020(9 Months completed now)....
So far there is no updates for the medical?...Someone can share your experience much appreciated
it changed to jun 07,2020@Maxsharma12 What is your current estimated completion date ? Is it still April 07,2020. ?
Normally, if you are an Inland applicant then do not worry but if you are outland applicant, then they might ask you to re-send a PCC after it got expired.Quick question. I know the Medicals are only valid for a year so normally people wait until requested before getting one done. Is it the same for the police certificates? I know they are also valid for one year only but need to be included with the application, is there a chance they could expire during the wait?
Thanks!
So you applied when processing time was 17 months. It is 22 months now. But your estimated completion date is advanced by 2 months only.it changed to jun 07,2020
If you will count from the date application was received it is almost correct..... Mine application was received by CIC on Aug 7, 2018.. from that date onwards...22 months will be completing on Jul 07, 2020.So you applied when processing time was 17 months. It is 22 months now. But your estimated completion date is advanced by 2 months only.
My completion date is also advanced by 2 months only. The math is not right when we compare it 17 -> 22 months should be advanced by 5 months instead of 2.
I would like to quote this from Interstellar
DOYLE :
They (CIC) won’t help you in here. We’recutting through the bulk - CIC is beyond our three dimensions ...(Checks his CIC processing time.) All we can do is record and observe.
Normally, if you are an Inland applicant then do not worry but if you are outland applicant, then they might ask you to re-send a PCC after it got expired.
