You have any idea how it'll work? ThankyouIt’s starting September 1st
I don't think we know that yet.Hello,
Just taking my chance if anyone knows a hint of rules for the upcoming September 9th sponsoring undeclared children? ie how far in year they will go back. Thanks
No - you do not have a shot at this. Only those who immigrate through a refugee program or family sponsorship qualify.Hi! I also have a question regarding this new rule/program. My husband currently has a PR status, as far as I know, he was sponsored by his mother. His mother was a live-in caregiver then and she applied for PR together with her children (including my husband). They all got their PR status the same time. In the process of their application, I got pregnant and gave birth a year and a half prior their departure for Canada. We weren't married then, he only came back 2 years after they have landed to marry me. My husband's mother did not declare our child on their application and also me, tho we weren't living together at that time. My boyfriend then, landed single with no dependent. My question is, do we have a shot on this? I'm a little confused with the way her mother got them under the live-in caregiver program. Were they (my husband and his siblings) sponsored as a dependent child or were they only added as a dependent child on their mother's PR application? Please enlighten me. Thank you.
Based on the information you have provided - it's not possible to say if you qualify. You'll need to provide more information.Hi,
Good day. inquiry again in regards to undeclared dependent. Based on eligibility, it looks like i am qualified because i was sponsored as a dependent. under further eligibility would anyone know if there is a cut off age? I am a bit confuse in regards to lock in date/age thing . When I received my permanent residence they were under age at that time. My two sons are now over 22. Am I still eligible?
