Hi LegalFalcon

Thought of knowing the general timelines of AOR to PPR these days for FSW OUTLAND. Is it true that zero travel history and single applicant profiles are processed fast.

Hi LegalFalcon

Immigration is law, and all applications are processed based on the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act. You will see many people claim by timelines, and swear that applications are processed in a specific way, give names like IP, IP2 etc. This is all incorrect and misinformation based on anecdotal evidence.

The fact remains that all applications as per the IRPA goes through the following stages:

R10
Criminality
Medicals
Eligibility
Security

To read on each see
https://www.getgcms.com/blog/express-entry-application-processed/

After the initiation of express Entry in 2015, IRCC has maintained that most applications are processed within 6 months or less and this 6 months processing time frame starts when the R10 is passed and not from the date you receive the AoR.

Further, some applications take way longer to clear Security. Security is based on many factors, and what is looked into is not disclosed. Only what is available is the CBSA Operation Manual 1 of 2015. If an application gets stuck in security, which people call as comprehensive security screening etc. etc. then it can take up to 2 years.

But most applications are processed and a decision is made within 6-10 months. do don't compare times, see at what stage your applications is at and whether it is progressing accordingly.

I have very urgent 3 Questions. Can you pls answer it @legalfalcon

1. I have worked 7 years for a company in different positions but claiming points for only one position for which I have worked 4 years. And thus I will be mentioning about the remaining positions in that company in the personal history. So, is it recommended for me to also submit the payslips/bank statement for the positions I am not claiming points for? & is LOE required if I cant submit those?

2. I have kept my POF in Fixed Deposit (FD) form in my bank for 6 months. In this situation, it will suffice if I get a letter in details mentioning about that FD account as per CIC requirements or Is it recommended for me to write a LOE explaining the situation?

3. For my Bachelors, I have received a 4 year bachelor equivalence ECA from WES. However, in my transcript it is shown that during my Bachelors I have transferred my credit from one university to the other & also I have completed the four years Bachelor course within 3 years, so is it recommended for me to explain this credit transfer and early graduation issue using LOE?
