Hello everyone,
First of all thank you, the info I got from this pages really helped a great deal in the past few years.
I am actually the employer now and this is the LMIA timeline we have for one of our employee:
Province BC - High Wage Stream
LMIA number received April 30th 2019
Called on August 22nd, unable to get any info about LMIA
Called today, September 3rd 2019, file still pending and not assigned to an officer....we are over the estimated 85 business days
Asked for help to the local MP, will see what happens
In Feb 2017 the previous LMIA for the same person, position and wage took less then 2 months....
I was reading the last few pages and noted that there are significant delays and then saw a post where a lawyer was able to escalate the LMIA. There is any specific procedure to do that? (we do not fall into the 10 days fast process NOC or wages)
Thank you
Fabio
