NO.we didn't proceed for GCMS. Because I asked my consultant to send me the application form which he submitted and found some errors in that. so i thought there's no point in waiting for GCMS. So now my husband is trying to apply from within Canada.

I got married in October 2018 and my husband is working in Canada. So we applied for spouse open work permit and it got rejected stating that i don't meet the requiremnts of SOWP under section 205(c)(ii) of the regulations. (c) is designated by the Minister as being work that can be performed by a foreign national on the basis of the following criteria, namely,
(ii) limited access to the Canadian labour market is necessary for reasons of public policy relating to the competitiveness of Canada’s academic institutions or economy; or
