It was a paper application but at sometime I was asked to link it to online.
London Visa Office processed my application
I didn’t know when my security started but I think it was the last part in my application
And yes I got the usual email from CIC asking me to check my account

I wasn’t able to contact anyone in the visa office since it is in the UK.
Whenever I contact CIC agents, they just tell me they don’t have access to applications processed out of Canada

One of the countries I lived has an special process for Police certificate. That country requires a letter from Canada asking for that information. The CIC send me the letter (it is part of the process for that country). The documents were accepted and now I am waiting for them to finish my background check.
