I have been refused trv on the basis of 179(b) . I applied on 19-6-19 and received email on 20-619.Family ties in Pakistan and Canada are such that I will not leave Canada at the end of my visit. Visa officer not satisfied. I think the verdict is based on assumption that I view as insulting for me. He could have interviewed me to seek full details as application form has so rigid format that satisfaction factor of the visa Officer has not been catered for or kept in view . What should I do next time or now.

those are very common refusal reasons and it is not a personal attack on you so do not feel insulted. Similar people with your profile likely violated visa conditions of Canada in the past and now others have to pay for it.
What are your circumstances? who do you have living in Canada vs Pakistan? Are you employed? Do you have sufficient funds to travel to Canada? What was your purpose of visit?
Interviews are not given. You must provide all of the evidence with your original application to convince the officer to approve your application. As said above, these are common and standard refusal reasons.

I'm a retired pensioner officer of army of 73 yrs of age. I have more than sufficient funds and property or wealth to support myself. I have good sources of income good house cars and other small luxries of day to day life. My brother is there in canada who has grown up children studying in colleges schools. I wanted to visit them for 2 wks max. VSF global had excluded my property or wealth documents from application for not being required to be submitted along with the visa application. This is in brief the circumstances of short visit.
What family ties do you have back home? I wonder if they think because you are retired you have the ability to overstay. Is there a pension you get from the army? Are you required to go back to Pakistan to claim it?
Did you have medical insurance with your visa? Its a good idea to get it if you end up getting approved even though it may not be required.
I and my 2 wives are here in Pakistan. I visited UK with one wife and want to visit Canada with other. I have no intention to over stay there beyond the given date. I'm getting pension and account statement was attached. I only want to know what and how assurance to give to them that I have no intention to stay there. I do not want to be obliged by an invitation letter or sponsored visit too whatever the cost I have to pay. Please advise as well as guide further action.

Sorry got refusal on 20-8-19 that is after 8 wks. Bio metric done and found valid for 10 yrs.
Hope you have not got tired of my clarifications. Is there some method to know forehand the strength of ties for the satisfaction of visa Officer because it's a relative term. There is measure to satisfaction and ties as well. Once applied there is no room for explanation clarification or additional information. Till the final verdict from there every communication is sealed so much so no appeal nothing to rectify or reverse the decision. May I continue asking you or stop somewhere.
