MIDI acknowledged receipt of my file on 12th June and credit card was charged on the same day. My CSQ was approved on 2nd August. It definitely takes more than 25 days now.

Okay my 35 working days done.when will i get csq any idea?

Hello Guys ,

Anyone in this group that received AOR 1 and after that no update for a month or so?

If no , is there someone in this group , for whom it took long time to get SA.

I am a little concerned because for me its exactly 1 month today that after AOR 1 i got no update.

My timeline : May31st file received

AOR 1 - July 20th 2019.

My SA took 3 months to come after I got AoR in March...

I believe because there are dependents involved and previous marriage so that could be the possible reason. those were my guesses anyway.

Lol.. I don’t think so in my case. I don’t just know why because I’m the only one my wife is sponsoring.

Seriously relax a bit you always ask the same thing , your app is moving and you keep pushing as if nothing was done , as a lot of us are stuck at waiting for unknown reasons.

Quebec have a trend of around 35-45 days before they send this one but we all know it's vacation so those may vary.

Relax take a beer , go outside... the envelop will arrive soon.

Hello everyone, I like to think they are moving really fast!

I am sponsoring my wife from Colombia and we sent our application on May 3, 2019

They received our application on May 8, 2010
They started processing our application on June 25, 20
They sent correspondence acknowledging receipt of our application(s) on June 26, 2019.
They sent an email asking for Biometrics on August 8, 2019 appointment for August 14th, 2019
They sent "We are pleased to inform that you have met the requirements for eligibility as a sponsor" August 12, 2019 also sent to the principal applicant a police check document from her country..

Hopefully we can be together soon here in Canada !!

Some folks don't even end up having their application sent to the PA's VO. Fingers crossed that you are one of the lucky few. Otherwise, Mexico VO is not doing too hot either. Too much suspense in this process with Canadian immigration. Privilege or not, people are waiting for loved ones and the process being so vague and unpredictable makes the whole process just that more miserable.

Hang in there buddy, it will work out soon enough.

Huzzah! GCAS updated to "Application Approved" today. I HOPE that means they'll be shipping the final paperwork back shortly. Now to watch Fedex tracking... (love that the page says see the letter below, but none of the last couple of letters is actually attached in GCAS...)

Gosh i hope cause it's getting none sense but all the times i've called they said app gonna be sent to Mexico blabla.... but i'm still waiting it.

I don't think they gonna push to have us skipping Mexico tho. and Yes there's def privilege in this process...

It's OK to worry, I'm in the same position as you, I was given a deadline to upload my CSQ to the federal but I had to ask for an extension and I still don't have it so will be asking for another extension tomorrow... Fingers crossed we both have them soon!
