Congratulations... What was the eligibility status?
Thanks. So, post med cleared in dec , 2018 there was complete silence with status as Eligibility met.

Everythng happened last week i.e IMM 5406 requested, post submission status changed to processing bg check last Friday and got visa email today.

Just saw a post in the October thread. Najeev got his PPR today and he had received a mail from Ralph's office that they cannot issue the PPR within 90 days of medical expiry. So he got a remed request and then PPR.

So I guess that most of us are going to receive a remedical request.
Seems like it. Can't they just extend? It's another expense for us because they couldn't process within 6 mos. But anyway, as long as visa is approved and we get the RFV mail, then I guess it's okay.

Maybe then can. The thing is that not everybody is getting a remedical request even if they are within the 90 day period. So I don't know what to expect. Honestly, I don't mind if they just issue the PPR without extending it. My bags are packed and I am ready to go. A remedical request will just delay it further.

However, I do understand that some people have a 60-90 day notice period so it's going to be a problem for them. Let's just hope that everyone gets what they want.

To be honest, I am not hoping for ppr this month...... Looking at the trend. That many are getting re medical requests almost after one year....... I am making up my mind to wait till November or perhaps even December.......
It's just the matter of accepting the situation, at least life will become peaceful ........
All eligibility met cases seem to be getting their PPR in 10 months, I'm 10 days short of 10 months and nothing.

I had pretty much made up my mind that I'm going to be stuck here for 1 year.

Well, I hope that you are right. My eligibility has been met since December last year and there was no RR ever. But still in IP1. Just 2 days behind you to complete 10 months.

I think most of us, including you, are in the same situation. Just the file needs to be picked up now.

It's not completely true because I got my PPR mail when my med is going to expire in next 50days and never received any remed request. So i am hoping to get my passport back by this month end then I will have only 30days to travel before expiry if they don't auto extend my med
