Please HELP! How long would it take to withdraw the online TRV application?

I submitted my online TRV application on July 13. It has been 1 month from that. The IRCC website indicates the normal processing time for application submitted in Canada is 6 days tho. I have already submitted the withdrawal request. And I got the email response like:

"We verified the information you provided. A note has been added to your file to advise the responsible office of your request to withdraw your application. Once your application is opened, it will be at the responsible office's discretion to withdraw the application and grant a refund of the processing fees within 16 weeks."

How long would it take to finally withdraw my application since I get this reply? If I want to submit a new application in local Visa Application Center in Beijing, can I do that now? or must wait until the application is fully cancelled? I am very anxious since I have already bought flight ticket at the end of September.

You could’ve let the application continue instead of withdrawing and when you’re in Beijing just submit the passport for stamping.

I believe after TRV is approved you can raise a webform and get TRV stamped at any VAC.

I’ve seen some do it.

Thank you for your reply! The problem is the processing time is way too long than the normal. I believe there is some problem in my application so I decided to withdraw my application. Do you know how long it would take to withdraw one online application?

Nothing wrong with your application.

Some applications take time, there was a TRV thread in the forum telling that there have been some people who got delayed for TRV extensions and were approved after 30-40 days .

I guess it’s some delay due to many applications.

Regarding withdrawal I’ve no idea.
Could take some time.
