Need your advice.

I have been asked by IRCC to submit CV & 'Supplementary information request for students form'. I read the form they want me to fill it is focused on the studies aspect, whereas I have completed my masters in 2012 and have no intentions of studying any further. The form asks for details like courses studies or intends to study, your supervisors past & future, thesis and so on. Very confusing.

Can you share any inputs on why this is required by them? and also, what to fill if possible.

If you have advanced degree in sciences, IRCC can ask for additional information. This is very normal to get to know more about your education and your area of expertise.

No need to worry, just send it. This info is used for security.

Haven’t you linked it to an online account? Or can’t you call IRCC to confirm if they have received your application and, if so, whether you’ll be receiving AOR soon?

Even i gave them my job offer letter, pay stubs, letter of employment from manager etc. My agent said immigration person totally overlooked all the documents provided by us. Can you give any suggestion what should i do now. My work visa is also expiring in December.

Raise a web form... send the documents again... and mention that these were already sent with your application. That's the advice I can give... would leave others to pitch in. Sorry about your situation bro.

Same thing happened to me , got a refusal letter Aug 1st, same day I called ircc , got a clueless agent who wasn't helpful at all. Tried again the same day with another agent , he sent in a reconsideration request for me and also adviced me to send a webform with paystubs, t4 and letter of explanation. All these documents , I submitted them with my application at first . Anyways I did just that and my application was reopened on Friday Aug 9th. This is just a short for of my PR application hitting a snag, when I get an update I'll post the full story .

My background check status not changed since May 30th.

My status as follows till date -

"Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check".

Still 41 days remaining.

AOR: 22nd March
MED & BIL: 20th May

Anyone with the same timelines and status? Response is appreciated.

My status was the same as yours, which I interpreted as "IP1" as per @derkdsou's explanation on various unofficial application stages. Meaning, your eligibility check is underway.
