I had the same change and my situation is worse: I submitted on 26th and have flight booked for 9th August. I'm rescheduling it for sure.

Where did u submit?? I also have the same status and flight booked for 11th..
Yes, yours may be too close to comfort. We have not had any change today. I will probably wait until thursday to reschedule our flight. I would anticipate the change in the message implies that the passport has been queued for stamping. I anticipate we would hear soon, not sure when though. The last 100m of this marathon is turning out to be just as stressful as the first. Still, i do not think we can complain considering the situation so many other are at.

I m March 2019 applicant. Mine file was retransferred to NDVO on July 30 and in ecas showed started processing on same day. We were asked to provide medical exams of non accompanying dependants (on May 22 and last reminder June 28 from mississauga) for whom my spouse doesn’t have custody. So we provided affidavit and court custody papers and letter of explanation.Today on August 6, gckey said reviewing additional documents provided. Any guesses how long NDVO take for review and what would be next step.
Did u get an update on passport? We got counterfoil issued but vfs staying same.
I got mail dat it has been dispatched from ircc to Canada visa application centre new Delhi...I opted for self pick up.... waiting for an update of ready to collect
We too have opted for self pick up but havent got the email yet. But good lu k to u. I think u can now make it to the aug 11 flight.

Email sent to me ...my lawyer n my husband for PPR.
Background check I can't say...I don't even know when it started in my case and when it ended...my file was tfd to ndvo on Nov 22 2028...I got ppr in jul 2019
