I’m sorry to hear that. On the bright side the months ahead of may have faster approval of aor..(30-40+ days). You wouldn’t have to wait long like the frustrating timeline of may.....& If you don’t mind me asking, we’re you able to link your app? I saw on the spreadsheet you have linked the app. How could they return it?
LMFAO i didn't even know about that, i did not link my app, so it is a big surprise for me, how in Jesus name is that possible?

Quick question,

So for OHIP, now that my husband has a Open Work Permit, all he needs is a letter of employment verifying that he will be working there at least 6 months and we are able to apply? :)

Few questions to this crew.

My US-citizen wife's application was received on May 6 but still no AOR (85 days :().
She landed in Canada as a visitor in January and thus has likely overstayed here visitor's visa.
We also planned a trip for Aug 23 to the US with re-entry to Canada on Sep 3.

Questions:
  • How can we renew her visitor's visa? Should we?
  • Once we receive her AOR, is it easy enough to re-enter Canada with dual-intent?
  • If we don't receive her AOR, is it possible to re-enter with dual-intent?
