What CIC agents are responding back contradicts with what CIC has on this page: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=363&top=5

According to this, we should be getting oath invite within six months after passing the exam. STRANGE!!!!!

but did they check and confirm that all the checks are done? like you background check?

Anyone else here from the Edmonton processing center? I wrote my test on June 8th and the officer told me that I passed and should be hearing back from them in a couple of weeks. Its been almost 6 weeks and havent heard anything. My status still remains as "In Process". Anyone else in a similar situation?

Have some patience. I gave my test on March 12th and I haven’t heard anything back from them. It may take up to 3 months at least. Good luck.

Thanks for your reply guys. I got an email for the oath ceremony, the very next day I posted this. My ceremony is on August 21st.

Got my Oath invitation today.
I did my test on May 31st.
Decision made on May 31st.
Oath Invite July 26th.
Oath ceremony scheduled Aug 27th
Basically, 3 months wait time. I wish everyone the best. Patience pays but pains lol
