Hi all, I recently got my COPR and now looking for a flight. From what I can tell, I have 3 options for my PoE. What would be the best choice between Vancouver, Calgary and Toronto? Considering the least hassle? I am bound to Winnipeg from Manila.

What do you mean by hassle? The processing time is roughly the same no matter where you land. Of course if you land at a big airport like Pearson you may wait a while longer as there may be many people in line ahead of you. Toronto and Vancouver should be equally busy (roughly speaking), Calgary is likely to be less busy.

If you're flying to Winnipeg from Manila, it doesn't make much sense to fly to Toronto and then fly back (unless you get a really great deal). Calgary might be best, or Vancouver.

You can pick any port of entry, decide based on what kinds of flight you get.

Realistically from Manila your only choice is likely to be Vancouver given unlikely to be any direct flights from Manila to Calgary or Winnipeg. Although there is a direct flight to Toronto from Manila guess is a matter of connections and overall flight time including the domestic sector to decide. As per 21goose Toronto wouldn’t make much sense unless flight time or cost less.

Well, I prefer connecting ones so that I can visit another country along the way (long layovers) and its also way cheaper. I have options for layovers in Taipei, Incheon, Shanghai, Beijing or Tokyo. Depending on which layover city I choose, my port of entry changes.

Yeah, from what I can tell is Vancouver appears to be the choice for many.

What I mean by hassle is the volume of people, waiting times, delays etc.. I might have chosen the wrong word for that.

No one can tell you for sure unless someone ends up knowing all the flights that land at the same time as yours, how many of them need to land as PRs, and the number of available CBSA agents when you arrive.
